One Protection Framework. Four Ways to Experience Kashmir Craftsmanship.
Whether you discover an exceptional craft at an ArtStay Flagship, purchase from a participating Fulfillment Store, collect an order from an authorized Pickup Point or attend a Private Trunk Show, ArtStay provides a common framework for purchase registration, evidence preservation and eligible buyer-protection services.
1. Create Your Access Token
Generate your ArtStay Access Token before your scheduled visit, pickup or private presentation to establish a record of the interaction.
2. Register Your Purchase
Record the seller, participating location or specialist, product details, receipt, GI reference where applicable, amount paid, payment method and product photographs.
3. Request Protection & Support
Registered eligible purchases may receive assistance with applicable returns, delivery problems, suspected fraud and authenticity disputes, subject to the published ArtStay Purchase Protection Rules.
Important: Registration is a prerequisite for ArtStay's optional purchase-protection program, but does not automatically guarantee a refund, establish authenticity or replace statutory consumer rights.

Handmade by Nature. Consistent in Craft. Unique in Every Piece.
Every Kashmir craft offered through our global pickup and collection network is handmade. Therefore, no two products are guaranteed to be 100% identical, even when they belong to the same collection, design or product category. Subtle variations in patterns, dimensions, colors, textures and finishing are natural characteristics of handmade production.
What remains consistent:
- Authenticity of the declared materials
- Traditional craftsmanship and production techniques
- Agreed quality and workmanship standards
- Craft-specific specifications and documented provenance
- Applicable GI and authentication requirements
What may naturally vary:
- Individual artistic expression
- Hand-executed patterns and detailing
- Minor dimensions within agreed tolerances
- Natural material variations
- Finishing characteristics associated with handmade work
"Our promise is consistency of standards, not mechanical uniformity."
Handmade Variation Policy
| Individual Buyers | Business Buyers (B2B) |
|---|---|
| Understand that every handmade piece is unique | Receive approved specifications and variation tolerances |
| View actual product images where available | Approve reference samples before production |
| Verify materials and authenticity | Verify batch-level material and technique conformity |
| Receive item-specific documentation | Receive individual or batch-linked provenance records |
From Craftlore Verification to ArtStay Fulfillment Recognition
The ArtStay Global Fulfillment & Pickup Network connects individual buyers and businesses with participating craft stores, boutiques and collection points.
Unlike the exceptionally selective ArtStay Flagship Network, fulfillment participation focuses on operational accessibility, reliable collection services and recognition of one specifically assessed handmade product or traditional craft specialization.
Through the institutional frameworks of Craftlore and the Kashmir Hamadan Craft Revival Foundation (KHCRF), participating stores may submit their nominated product or craft for documented assessment.
The process examines relevant evidence of artisan identity, declared materials, traditional techniques, craftsmanship, provenance, applicable GI documentation and compliance with defined recognition requirements.
The Assessment Pathway
Store Application & Nominated Craft
Craftlore Registry & Evidence Review
KHCRF Heritage Assessment
Recognition Decision & ArtStay Activation
Store ≠ Product
A participating store may carry hundreds of products. However, ArtStay craft recognition applies exclusively to its approved product or craft specialization. Recognition of one craft must never be interpreted as recognition of the store's entire inventory.
Consistent, Not Identical
No two handmade pieces are 100% identical. Natural variations in patterns and textures reflect individual craftsmanship. However, approved material specifications, traditional techniques, and quality standards must remain consistent.
Independent Evidence
Craftlore provides the verified evidence. KHCRF assesses heritage. ArtStay manages the pickup network. Neither participation nor private recognition replaces official GI certification or statutory authentication.
